On Saturday we started out with some Trunk or Treating at church! Ella was excited and had a great time! Eli....refused to put his costume on. Go figure. He's been wearing it around the house nearly every day since we bought it last month, and on the 1 day I need him to wear it, he won't put it on ; )

Tigger (I managed to force it on top of his coat later on that day on our way to Grandma's!)
We spent our Saturday evening carving pumpkins at Grandma's! Ella was such a good little pumpkin cleaner! She dug right in with her hands and got all the seeds and pulp out of this big pumpkin all by herself!
Eli wasn't too interested in the cleaning part (takes too long!), but once the faces were carved and candles were lit, he was mesmerized!
Monday's are busy night's for us in our house (swimming lessons right after supper, and I go straight from swimming to choir), but we squeezed in a little more Halloween fun! We hurried home from swimming lessons, put on costumes, and the kids headed out with Daddy for some trick or treating around the block. Thankfully I had to time to join them for a few houses and snap some pics before heading off to choir!
And another bonus - Eli actually put on his costume and enjoyed himself! He was so cute - saying "Thank you" to all the people, and even attempting to say "Trick or Treat" after watching Ella do it so well ; )
Happy Halloween! Now to convince Eli that he can't have M+M's for breakfast, Skittles for lunch, and Doritos for supper.
