Smart Cookie!

Today Ella surprised me by writing her own name! She loves to draw and colour, and will often try to write peoples names down.

This afternoon she said, "Mom, I'm going to write my name!" Then she drew an "E".

I said, "Next comes an 'L' " - so she drew her "L", and then another when I told her there were 2.

"And last comes 'A' " I instructed. Here is her finished product!

I'm a pretty proud Mama today : )
