Eli turned 3 on February 9th. In some ways it seems crazy to me that he is already 3, and in some ways I feel like I have been saying "He is almost 3" forever. We had a fun little party at our house on the 10th. Here's a peek!
The party started at 5:30, and Chris showed up at 5:40 with an enormous cardboard box filled with McDonald's for supper! We took everybody's orders beforehand. We considered ordering pizza, but when we thought about it, if Eli could choose anything, he'd probably choose McDonald's. (You know, if he communicated that well...haha)
After our supper we moved on to presents. After this past Christmas, Eli is definitely a pro at unwrapping.
Then it was time for cake and icecream! TA-DA! This year it was extra fun to try and bake and decorate the cake with a baby in the house - I had to do the whole thing wearing Emerson in my Moby wrap. Thank goodness for babywearing!
After cake there was plenty of time to play with new toys before the kids headed to bed - including cousin Jaxson, who slept over here for the first time. They were all a little too riled up to get to sleep, but eventually......(try 11:15 pm) all the kids were snoozing. Eli (newfound Star Wars fan) slept with his Millennium Falcon. Geek.

YOur parties always look so fun... and now you have me craving McDonalds! And the cars cake is exactly what a store bought one would charge you $30 for and Im sure a million times more tasty.. great job
Nice cake! Good work! I have to say i love that Eli has the bigger bed, but yet his cousin slept with Ella in the smaller bed.
